The cities I don’t know feels like the city I know

I am pretty sure that, like most people, I like to travel. And I like to get to know new places and new people and new cultures. But lately, I have been noticing that all places look familiar somehow. Like I was here before, yet I wasn’t. I know it’s my first time there, but…

even though the houses have different architectures and obviously geography has a great impact on a place and its people. They look familiar. They feel familiar. They all have human beings living there. Human beings with fears and goals. With love and hate. They are making tea or reading a book. Maybe that’s why most places look and feel familiar…. because I am as human as the people who live in it.

It’s a weird feeling to have or maybe a normal one? Maybe that’s how you feel to arrive at a place and be a stranger there for a couple of days just to go back to be known in your hometown. It is not like it’s bad or good. It is just something that exists in every person's time and place.

It’s just a feeling that I get… maybe someone else gets it too.
